Hoosky "Rush Hour" Directed by Rémi Boulnois Rush Hour. Two men waiting in a car, until one of them decides to insert in the car stereo a mysterious tape on which it's written "Rush Hour". This is the beginning of a chaotic and surreal adventure, driven by Hoosky's music.
MROZU "Duch" Directed by Zuzanna Plisz Distopian vision of Eastern Europe. An alienated boy creates a wooden female creature, which becomes his dearest friend and a threat to the small society in which the boy lives. To tell this emotional story music video combines horror and romance, dramatic tension and poetry.
Josiah & The Bonnevilles "Cold Blood" Directed by Jake Klarkowski Around 2 am at a late night diner Josiah and director Jake Klarkowski discussed what Josiah was going through while writing the song Cold Blood. A few hours later knowing what little money they had they came up with a concept. After a trip to Frazier Park, California and a crew of about 2 people they were able to capture the vision.
Shawnee Kilgore and Joss Whedon "Back to Eden" Directed by Joss Whedon Back to Eden is the debut music video of Hollywood director Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Avengers) for the title track of the EP he cowrote and coproduced with Austin singer-songwriter Shawnee Kilgore after the two met via Kickstarter in 2014.
The video stars two beloved Whedon collaborators, Oscar nominee Richard Jenkins and Ashley Johnson. It was shot by Jay Hunter (“Much Ado About Nothing”) on two Alexa 65’s, a cutting edge large format from Arri that until now has only been used on the highest end of big budgeted feature films, such as “The Revenant” and “Rogue One.” The Back to Eden shoot marked the first micro-budgeted independent production to have ever used this camera.
Combining the latest in super resolution camera technology with a variety of vintage 65mm prime lenses from PANAVISION - some of which were over 50 years old - paints Back to Eden’s unprecedented visual landscape.
Liu Bei "Atlas World" (Solomun Day Remix) Directed by Morgana McKenzie Atlas World was filmed in historic protected sites located in the national capital region of Canada, in both Ottawa Ontario and Gatineau Quebec. These sites include: the water-filled Lusk Caves formed by glaciers thousands of years ago; the Alfred bog, part of the 12,000 year old Mer Bleue bog region; and, the 100 year old Carbide Willson Ruins, crumbling industrial buildings and tunnels built around a river and waterfall.
The Donnies The Amys "Drive You Home" Directed by Jaime Valdueza A 5 second car crash makes the driver reflect about his relationship and to eventually find himself.
Jay Pray "Smile" Directed by Joe Staehly Follow a woman as she revisits her past through projections.
